Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Promptli Commerce ("Promptli", "we") for the use of our website, store builder, admin, Promptli Inbox and the online stores that run on them (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use it for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
1. The Service
Promptli lets a merchant build an online store, list products, take orders, send parcels with connected couriers, and talk to customers. Each store is the merchant's own business: Promptli is not a marketplace, is not a party to any sale between a merchant and a shopper, and does not hold shoppers' money.
2. Accounts
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and codes private; you are responsible for what happens under your account and for the staff you invite.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Tell us promptly at support@promptli.online if you think someone else has access.
3. Trial, plans and payment
- New stores start with a 30-day free trial, no card required.
- Paid plans are a flat monthly price shown in the admin. Promptli charges no commission on your sales.
- You pay Promptli by bKash and give us the transaction ID. A payment counts once we have checked it. Prices may change for future periods with notice in the admin.
- If an invoice stays unpaid after its due date, the store is paused (visitors see it as unavailable) until you pay. Your data is kept during the pause.
- You may cancel any time; there is no refund for a period already paid unless the law requires one.
4. Your responsibilities as a merchant
- You are responsible for your products, prices, descriptions, photos, policies, delivery promises, refunds and customer service, and for following the laws that apply to you, including consumer and digital commerce rules in Bangladesh.
- Do not sell goods that are illegal or prohibited, counterfeit, or unsafe. We may remove listings or suspend a store that does.
- You are responsible for the personal data of your customers that you put into Promptli. Use it only to serve them, and honour their requests to see or delete it.
- Your courier, bKash and other third-party accounts are yours, and their own terms apply. Keep the keys you connect valid.
- Do not misuse the Service: no attacks, scraping, spam or unsolicited bulk messages, reselling access, or attempts to reach other merchants' data.
- Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp integrations are subject to Meta's terms and policies, which you must follow, including its messaging windows and opt-in rules.
5. AI assistant
The AI assistant is optional. It can make mistakes. You choose the instructions it follows, you can read every conversation and take over at any time, and you remain responsible for what it says to your customers. Each plan includes a limited number of AI replies a month.
6. Your content and data
You keep all rights to your content and your store's data. You give us the right to host, display, copy and process them as needed to run the Service for you. You can ask for an export of your catalogue, orders and customers. We handle personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Our rights
Promptli, its software, design and brand belong to us. You get a limited right to use the Service while you comply with these terms. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is required by law, and will tell you why where we can.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or retire features, and will give notice of changes that matter to you.
9. Warranty and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Promptli is not liable for lost sales, profits or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Promptli in the three months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Promptli is not responsible for couriers, payment providers, Meta or other third parties, or for the conduct of shoppers.
10. Ending
You can stop using the Service at any time. After a store is cancelled or removed its data follows the retention described in the Privacy Policy; ask us for an export first.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you a right to go elsewhere. We prefer to settle disputes by talking first.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell merchants in the admin before material changes apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
